Mr. Francis Choo serves as the Vice President and Chief Country Executive of Ingram Micro ASEAN & Hong Kong, and is responsible for the profit and loss of all countries in ASEAN and Hong Kong.
With more than 30 years of vast experiences in logistic and IT industries, Francis manages various portfolios and entities in Singapore and across the ASEAN countries. Prior to joining Ingram Micro in 1988, Francis began his IT career with IBM, followed by Dow Jones Telerate as its Country Manager and later, Group Deputy General Manager of Thakral Brothers. Francis holds a First Class Honors in Bachelor of Science of Business Studies, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a post-graduate Diploma in Materials Management.
Francis also holds a degree in Master of Science, Education Management and a Master’s degree in Art Histories.
Mike Zilis serves as Ingram Micro Inc. Executive Vice President and Group President of Asia Pacific. In this role he’s responsible for driving the strategy and execution of Ingram Micro’s operations in the Asia Pacific market. He was named to this position in August 2016 and is based in Irvine, Calif. Since the beginning of 2018, Mike also oversees Ingram Micro’s “Internet of Things” global business and go-to-market strategy.
Prior to this role, Mike served as EVP and group president from July 2015 through July 2016, where he oversaw Ingram Micro’s US mobility business as well as Ingram Micro’s full operations in Latin American, Eastern European, ASEAN and Hong Kong markets. Mike served as EVP and president of Ingram Micro’s Latin America Technology Solutions business from January 2014 through June 2015, where he resided over all aspects of Ingram Micro’s core distribution business across the Latin American markets.
Before this, Mike was executive vice president of Asia Pacific, since August 2012. In this role, Mike was accountable for the region’s operations while also leading special regional projects, including the company’s recovery program in Australia and assisting with the integration of the company’s Middle East acquisition of Aptec.
Mike joined Ingram Micro in 2006 as senior vice president and corporate controller. In this capacity, he was accountable for the company’s financial planning and analysis, external and internal financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance efforts, long-term strategic planning, debt and finance structuring, financial due diligence and merger and acquisition work.
Prior to joining Ingram Micro, Mike was vice president and corporate controller for Avnet, Inc. for three years, where he was instrumental in leading the company’s cost-saving initiatives and efforts to streamline and add efficiency to ongoing processes. Mike began his career with 10 years in the commercial audit practice of Arthur Andersen LLP. He received his bachelor’s of science degree from Boston College.
Renée Bergeron serves as senior vice president, global cloud, Ingram Micro. She leads the global cloud go-to-market organization and has responsibility for the division’s organisational management, as well as its strategic direction, sales growth, marketing and business development activities. With more than 25 years of business unit leadership experience, Bergeron is a driving force behind identifying and cultivating new opportunities in cloud computing for Ingram Micro.
Bergeron joined Ingram Micro in September 2010. Prior to joining Ingram Micro, she led the $300 million IT Services Solutions business at Fujitsu America. At Fujitsu America, Bergeron oversaw the development of innovative solutions; most notably the company’s managed security, data center virtualisation and cloud computing offerings. Before Fujitsu, she led information technology divisions at media and banking companies, was a CIO at a financial institution, and was a director at a prominent international technology consulting firm.
Bergeron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Sherbrooke University in Sherbrooke, Canada, and a master’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She is based at Ingram Micro’s headquarters in Irvine, California.
Uma Thana Balasingam is Vice President & Channel Chief, Asia Pacific & Japan at VMware. She’s responsible for developing and executing overall VMware channel strategy and programs for VMware’s ecosystem of solution providers, distributors, OEMs and telecommunications partners.
Uma was previously Vice President of Channels & Sales, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) for Riverbed, where she was responsible for defining the region’s go-to-market strategies and played an active role in shaping the company’s growth strategy in the region. She was recognised in May 2018 in CRN’s The Most Powerful Women of the Channel global list.
Uma has 18+ years’ experience in business and strategic channels development in the APJ region. Prior to joining Riverbed, she served approximately 8 years at EMC in various senior leadership roles that included new product sales, alliances, acquisitions, channels sales, strategy & planning. She previously held roles in management at Brocade and field sales at IBM, starting her career as a systems engineer.

After acquisition, HPE appointed him vice president and chief technology officer for high performance computing and artificial intelligence. He oversees programs to develop the next generation computer architecture. His current research interest is in the progression from analytics, inductive machine learning, deductive reasoning and artificial specific to general intelligence. He continues his studies in human perception for user interfaces and virtual and augmented reality. In collaboration with NASA he is principal investigator of a year-long experiment, aboard the International Space Station, to operate high performance computers for long duration space travel - this won both the 2017 HPCwire Top Supercomputing Achievement and Hyperion Research Innovation Awards.
A Singapore Visionary Award recipient, Dr. Goh is a Scientific Advisory Board member of the National Research Foundation, Prime Minister’s Office. As the global head of IoT at Ingram Micro, Ben Xiang is responsible for the overall IoT strategy, solution development and execution across the company. Ram, is a 22 year Intel veteran, and has over 25+ years in the IT industry. He is currently the sales specialist for commercial client and workstation platforms for Asia Pacific.
Ram has held a variety of product marketing and sales roles at Intel, both for the India market as well as the APJ region. He joined Intel in 1997 in technical support role for the channels in India. He moved to Singapore in 2000, and did multiple product and platform leadership roles for Asia Pacific during his stint in Singapore till 2011. Charlie Chye is an IT professional with about 30 years of experience with early years of focus in Banking & Finance industry.
He has been closely involved in projects from global networked systems, mission-critical a pplication management to high-security e-payment/e-banking solutions. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and a Master of Technology in Software Engineering. Among all other certifications, he has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2004 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2008.
Prior to Ingram, Charlie founded CNAV Business Value Pte Ltd in 2008 and started offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and South Korea. Before that, Charlie was the Head of Emerging Technologies team under Symantec Consulting, Asia Pacific and Japan. During the 3 years with Symantec, Charlie built and led a team of consultants that successfully delivered projects of technology that was relatively new to the market. Before working for Symantec, Charlie was a Principal Consultant with Reuters Consulting, Asia. In his 12-year career with Reuters, he was placed in charge of mission-critical trading and risk management systems dealing with real-time data on global infrastructures. He was also the key architect using Microsoft Technology for designing a multi-million dollar enterprise platform for a regional bank during the same period.
Ms. Eunice Lau currently serves as the Executive Director of Product Management of Ingram Micro ASEAN & Hong Kong, She is responsible for the management and development of the Advanced Solutions & Specialty business, Security Consultancy, Education and Technical Services of the company.
Started in Ingram Micro since 1995, Eunice has taken on different roles in Ingram Micro, primarily business fronting, from sales to product management. Anirban Mukherjee is Red Hat Asia Pacific's Business Development Director for Cloud. In this role, he works with customers, partners and members of the open source community to facilitate the adoption of Red Hat Cloud technologies. His focus is to help companies harnessing the potential of technologies to build practices that expedite execution of their business strategies towards the development of digital capabilities. His work involves working with key customers embarking on transformation projects in order to drive agility and operational efficiencies within their IT organization. In an APAC role, he leads the business development initiatives carried out in the region by Sales Specialist and Solution Architects. This includes creating and executing sales and marketing plans aligned with the global strategy for Red Hat’s Cloud portfolio. He acts as a conduit between clients, partners and Red Hat Product Management to influence the roadmap and commercial offerings.
Anirban has over 15 years’ experience working in the IT industry, before joining Red Hat he worked with AWS and HPE in various across the Asia Pacific. He holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney and MBA from the University of Cambridge, UK.
